I'm the cake decorator and baker at "mmmm Cakes"

I've been passionate about art and design from an early age.

I studied Art and Design at Stamford College and have always loved baking.  In 2010, by combining my two loves, I started making cakes for friends and family and since then, expanded my portfolio to include several commissions including a cake for Hilary Mantel (author of "Wolf Hall" and "Bringing Up the Bodies") and also for the Horse and Jockey Inn, Manton, Rutland.

In April 2014 I married my husband and created our unique tiered wedding cake. It took me 6 days to complete and survived 2 earthquakes. That is what you call good cake stacking! 

In June 2014 the business name changed from "Angel Cakes - Rutland"  to "mmmm Cakes". Something new, different and definitely memorable!
